Kotirinne

Set on a steep slope on a small piece of land, Kotirinne is home to a family of five. To ensure a view of the close-by lake, the living room was elevated as high as possible by digging the garage and the basement into the sloping ground. As the slope has a difference in height from one end to the other of over 9 meters, outdoor patios open up from different floors of the building. The building consists of two parts; a wooden wing containing the individual bedrooms and a concrete wing that houses the living room and the rest of the common areas.
