Savio parish centre

 

The Savio congregation owns a land lot close to the Savio railway station. Our task was to find a way to fit housing and a new parish center to replace their old building suffering from mold.

​

The plan consists of three apartment blocks arranged to form a courtyard together with the new parish center. Public routes through the courtyard open the property. Massive brick was chosen as the construction material for its sustainable properties.
